On the 4th of July, the second-level specializing Master Michele Ferrero Program reached its destination with an official Closing Ceremony at the Ferrero Foundation in Alba. Eight students from Italy, China, Mexico, and Serbia had the chance to participate in the front rows of a thought-provoking closing event that hosted distinguished speakers, such as Suor Alessandra Smerilli from Vatican City and representatives from Soremartec Italia, Ferrero Foundation, the University of Turin, and The Catholic University of the Sacred Heart.
Apart from discussing social, economic, and disparity challenges around the world in the lecture ‘Integral Ecology: From Words to Action’, particular attention was also dedicated to women who made history and forever changed the trajectory of industry, sport, or education as the first females to enter disciplines previously dominated by men. This focus further boosted the motivation of young female students to reach for their dream goals and strive for more while thriving in their desired career pathways. The newly graduated students were additionally encouraged to ‘meditate on their future destinations’ and choose wisely in which direction they should find their fulfillment and contribute to a better world with their talents.
The Ceremony was also a perfect moment to announce the Business Case project winners and applaud their teams by displaying their creative new product video. Additionally, two other prizes for the best academic achievements and the best thesis were announced and delivered.
After the official event, the students had a chance to celebrate their success with their tutors and Business Case mentors who closely tracked their progress and achievements. Finally, graduates could share moments of joy with their families and friends arriving from all around the world, who had been cheering for them over the last nine months.
