During the Ferrero Internship the students of the 10th edition of Master M. Ferrero had a chance to dive into the blue zones of Sardinia and Costa Rica through the presentations of international professors who participated in the first seminar of Master. First and foremost, the interns learnt about the factors that might impact their healthy ageing and in addition found out via the lenses of the owner of Nutrition Integrated what are the most trendy products on the market when it comes to the infinite desire of the society to not only add years to life but also life to years.
Moreover, Master interns also took a guided tour in the Ferrero Foundation having a chance to discover activities of a local micro ‘blue zone’ of Ferrero seniors in Alba. In the plant they had another marvelous experience to visit and interact with the experts of raw materials, such as Cereals&Sugars, Cocoa & Derivates, Coffee, Tea & Coconut, Fats&Oils, Flavours and Milk&Eggs. The time between the visits has been filled up with the competitive work on the new product development for the final aim of the Business Case. Extensive teamwork, demanding entrepreneurial tasks, tight schedule and cross-departmental collaboration have been a great preparation for a constant improvement and a promising career start!
